WHEN IS THE ELECTION?
NOW GET OUT AND VOTE!
- Primary Partisan Election Day (if necessary) is Tuesday, August 9, 2023
- General Election Day (if necessary) is Tuesday, November 8, 2023
- 7 AM to 8 PM local time.
- At a Polling Place located near your residence.
- If you don’t know where it is, the try MyVote polling place search
- On Election Day, at your Polling Place
- Before Election Day, at your City, Village or Town Clerk’s office.
- Or Before the deadline, by mail at MyVote registration page.

- To vote, bring an authorized Photo ID such as a drivers license
- To register, bring your proof of identity and proof of residency.
- Early voting is called “in-person absentee voting”
- It is done on a ballot at your municipal clerk’s office (application form not needed).
- Ensure your are properly registered (see above)

- Fill out the online form or download the application form.
- Type in the data & print the form (or print the blank for & fill in by hand).
- Mail, fax, email or hand deliver to your Municipal Clerk
- Your ballot will arrive by mail.
- Start these steps early enough to allow for mail delivery times.
- Mark up your ballot, place it the mailer signed by you and a witness.
- Return mailer to the Municipal Clerk’s office before the deadline.
